Maritime Ambassador event as part of Volunteers Week

The Inspiring the Future Maritime campaign aims to connect volunteer Maritime Ambassadors with young people in the classroom, and whilst we are extremely proud that Maritime UK Solent has more Ambassadors than any of the other regional clusters, we want to increase this precious resource so that we can tell the maritime careers stories in even more schools and colleges.

One of the people you will hear from is a current Maritime Ambassador, Claire Hogan, Marine Services SHE-Q Officer:

It is so rewarding sharing your life experiences with those yet to experience life and educate them on what is available to them in the world of work. Particularly being in the Solent region, I love the look on children's faces when they realise they have options in terms of careers in the Maritime Industry."
